What a great course, I have been wanting to learn some simple chords on the mandolin for a while. This course was simple and easy to follow, with a little more practice it won’t take me long to master the principles Jonathan puts forth. I can’t wait to do the next one.

This is a very good course for those who are already picking melodies but want to learn chords in order to join in on jams with family and friends. It covers some basic strumming patterns and the two-finger chords for G, C and D major that are so essential to folk music. In a very short time you will be strumming a very warm, easy-to-learn rendition of the gospel song: Amazing Grace. This course emphasizes a clean start with a focus on good timing, understanding the beat, and offers foot tapping techniques and practice material including play-along tracks. You do not need to read music to accomplish this course. I am very happy to recommend it!
